Life in the Middle

 Two weeks left

Only two weeks left before teachers have to report back to school. I usually begin getting really depressed...I LOVE staying home! My little doggie and I begin the day by reading the paper and having breakfast and coffee on the deck under the umbrella on the patio table. We listen to the sounds of morning...birds, dogs, garbage trucks, sirens, etc.

Then I sit down and plan my day which usually includes practicing the harp, piano and organ, taking food to my mom in her apartment, getting groceries or shopping at the mall while I walk, and calling my daughter and granddaughter. We usually get together for some activity every day.

I had tons of projects lined up for the summer. Still have a few piles in the family room but I'll get to them. I did't get my music as organized as I had planned but I still have a few days for that.

Oh yes, and movies in the late afternoon. Or reading...how nice!!
Back to the deck or patio for pre-sleep meditation. Only one or two years till retirement...I can't wait!!!

 63 and pregnant

63 and pregnant A woman went to the emergency room, where she was seen by a young, new doctor. After about 3 minutes in the examination room, the doctor told her she was pregnant. She burst out of the room and ran down the corridor screaming. An older doctor stopped her and asked what the problem was. After listening to her story, he calmed her down and sat her in another room. Then the doctor marched down the hallway to the first doctor's room. "What the hell's wrong with you?" he demanded. "This woman is 63 years old, she has two grown children and several grandchildren, and you told her she was pregnant?" The new doctor continued to write on his clipboard and without looking up said, "Does she still have the hiccups?"

 Girlfriends

Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning the devil says "Oh Crap, She's up!"

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
So love the people who treat you right...
Love the ones who don't, just because you can.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Kiss slowly.
Forgive quickly.
God never said life would be easy.
He just promised it would be worth it.

I am only as strong as the coffee I drink,
the hair spray I use and
the friends I have.
To the cool women that have
touched my life. Here's to you!

National Girlfriends Day
What would most of us do without our confidants and shopping, lunching, and traveling girls?
Let's celebrate each other for each other's sake!
TO MY GIRLFRIENDS!

If you get this twice
you know you have more
than one girlfriend.
Be Happy!
